From what I've read, some of these trucks did not come with sway bars. I looked underneath mine and mine does not have one. However I also noticed there are no holes in the underside of the frame to install brackets and there are also no holes on the lower control arms for swaybar end links.
What am I suppose to do if I want to add a swaybar? Do I need to drill holes for the frame brackets? What about the lower control arms though?

I thought they all had the holes, maybe you are not looking in the right spot

It's an 1981 2wd C10 shortbox. I'm unable to tell you what trim levelas that info isn't in the glove box. It believe it's ither a Silverado or Cheyenne because it's power windows and locks, carper, carpeted headliner and carpeted door panels.
Now, on a positive note, the truck DOES have the swaybar holes in it. I was just looking in the wrong spot. Took me a minute to find them up on the LC arms as well because they are up on top of that ridge.
Thanks for the replies guys.
I was wanting to add a Belltech front and rear bar on this.

My 83 dont have either. I drag race my truck so I didnt want a sway bar anyway.
