Title: annoying rattles

Hello all, My 86 Scottsdale has a rattle in the e brake pedal like a rubber bushing has fallen out I have a hard time getting to it to see so I may just r&r the assembly. Is there any tension on the cable or other surprises  I need to know before doing this? Rattle is as bad as a marble in a tin can. Any help is greatly appreciated.  Muley

Funny you mention marble, we once put a marble down the defrost heater duct of a friends car. He almost went insane, lol. Same "marble in a tin can" effect. Such a cruel thing to do. Lol
