im about to buy an '85 C20 for doors for my '79C10, the question is what else will fit onto my truck? i.e. fenders, hood, glass? thankx for the help
-
I believe everything can swap except the rear springs unless you moved the spring perches.
-
also what about the beds?
-
No problem.
On my 76 C-10,I have a 79 C-20 frame,a 76 cab,an 81-87 box (not sure of the year exactly). I also have an 87 tilt steering colunm,700 r4 tranny and A/C system. I have 81-87 doors installed as well. Edited by: 123 pugsy at: 8/6/06 12:55 pm

Ya,these trucks are great for mix and matching.
-
reminds me of johnny cash's one peice at a time. What company is the fiberglass front end from? Good stuff or did it need some work?
-
USBody makes the tilt I have. Excellent quality. My other truck will be getting one from them also.

I was looking at just fenders and a hood from there or unlimited products.
-
Unlimited Products parts are good only if you plan to drag race and not show it or not expect it to look good. Personally, I would avoid them like the plague.

It wont be show qaulity but I for sure want it to look good. Thanks for the heads up on them.
-
if i take the doors that are electric and put them into my truck thats not electric, what exactly needs to be done, oh and its electric locks and windows
-
You need the harness from the doors to the inside of the truck. It is seperate from the rest of the harness.
