Title: 700r4 tv cable bracket
Post by: David A Young on October 07, 2016, 01:43:10 pm
Ok I'm having a cable issue on my 85 c 1500. I recently installed a Edelbrock 2104 manifold with a q jet carb. My truck originally came out with a 350 c lockup. Is there any differences between the factory 350 c throttle brackets and the factory 700r4 throttle bracket? I'll post a pic of the problem I'm having. If I have to have an aftermarket brakxet what would everyone recommend?

Are the factory brackets the same? If they aren't I'll go aftermarket. Still want to keep the set up for cruise control of I can

Im certainly no expert but I'd  be willing to bet that they are different.  There is a lot of info on TV cables all around the internet.  Take some time to Google and read.

I tried to explain before but was ignored. Bowtie Overdrive is the only company that makes the brackets with the correct geometry necessary when converting to a 700R4. Look at their page and do some reading ------ http://www.tvmadeez.com/
