Hi all! My daily driver is a 1984 3/4 ton 4x4 suburban. She is a beauty! On occasion I have had to replace the 20 amp Gauges/Idle fuse. Just the other day it stopped working. It will blow as soon as I turn the key on. I am pretty sure there is a short somewhere. All of the schematics that I have found do not show the exact fuse I am looking for. Just wondering if anyone knows or can figure out what exactly is on that fuse. She is stuck in a random parking lot not and any help would be appreciated!

Please include Year, Make, Model etc.. when posting (http://forum.73-87chevytrucks.com/smforum/index.php?topic=5220.0)
Scroll down through the list of 1973-87(91) GM Pickup Manuals (http://forum.73-87chevytrucks.com/smforum/index.php?topic=30115.0) and download the factory wiring manual that applies to your truck. Assuming you are working on a 1984 Suburban, the GAUGES/IDLE fuse supplies power via circuit 39 (pink/black) to the seatbelt warning buzzer, instrument cluster, low coolant warning module & lamp, and the water in fuel lamp (diesel).
