Not true, they went to metric thread studs in the early 2000's. My new 02 has metric studs. The 8 lug stud pattern diameter stayed the same from 60 or 70 something all the way up to 2010, 2011 the stud pattern diameter was made larger to increase GVWR and payload/heavy duty abilities. So if they are 2011 or newer, then no they will not fit and you will need an adapter but I'm not sure there is an adapter as there isn't a substantial difference in stud pattern diameter. If they are 2010 or older then yes they should fit.
I put 8 lug wheels from an 08 3/4 ton on my 3/4 ton square with no adapters of any kind, perfect fit, and then swapped the same wheels onto my new 02 3/4 ton, still a perfect fit.
Also those wheels you posted are 17 inch diameter.

Correct, metric threaded studs themselves came out in '88, with the new body style

Figured that's what you ment but wanted to clarify just in case. I'm glad you chimed back in tho, because I couldn't remember what the newer pattern was, I got to 8x and drew a blank on the 180.
