Title: 1988 K20 suburban back window wont go back up using any switches
Post by: MuddiGGEr25 on November 03, 2016, 11:36:58 pm
My nephew got the right rear side window to roll down while trick or treating and it wont go back up no matter what i do, and its going to be dropping below freezing agian soon.

I can only control the two drivers windows from the drivers door control.

Does anyone know which wires i can just connect 12V+ and ground to, and be able to manually send the motor and window up? I have a extra set of mini jumper cables and a spare truck battery to use so i can completely bypass the suburban wiring.

I already have the 5 wire connector hanging out

get a helper and see if youre getting any power to the switch then use the drivers switch to try and move it while probing the wires for power

Download the 1988 wiring diagrams.  They'll show you what connections go where.
