Title: Transmission crossmember
Post by: SILV on November 06, 2016, 10:05:42 pm
Hey guys. Ive got a dilemma im trying to figure out on my 82 c10. The truck is lowered and well the exhaust is hanging down lower on one side because of there is no room because of the transmission crossmember. Looks like poop and scrubbs over speed bumps.

I plan to run 3" from the header back to some mufflers turned down before the rear end. The headers i may use are 4th gen camaro headers that are supposed to tuck closer to the floor pan with some slight modifications.  The header part is still being researched.

I want to knock out the crossmember first but after searching it pulls up tons. So i have no idea where to start or which one will allow enough room for the pipe to hide behind the frame. Any of you guys have anything like this?

Transmission is a th350.
