do i just use a big screw driver to get the big screws out ? or do i need another tool ? im going to a pick n pull on the weekend and i need to make sure i bring the right tool.

The ones that would turn out, I used a hammer and chisel to get them to turn first, then the correct size torx socket. Most of them on mine required drilling the head, then knocking it off with a chisel. My fenders were not reusable, the truck came from Colorado. How ever long you think it's going to take, times it by 2.

If you come across an additional pair of step side fenders with fuel doors or really nice bed side panels, I would appreciate a chance to purchase them, depending on where your at.
well actually i just need to get the driver side so it should be alot faster.
so basically you destroyed the bolts? did it destroy the fender? i wouldnt mind just drilling out bolts as long as it doesnt destroy the fender. i started by heating up the screws and breaking the screws loose with a big flat head and unscrewing the rest out with plyers. ive only got one out so far :'( thats why im asking

It left a little stub that I could have grabbed with vice grips while heating the fender side

Give them a few whacks with a hammer, some weasel pee on the threads, some heat on the fenders side by a helper. Have had good luck with an impact going back, and forth until they move.

forgot to update this post ...sorry to say i got there and the front fender and quarter panel i needed were both dented. the quarter panel didnt have the brake light either so i didnt even try.
i did score a decent impala style leather bench from the truck and took off the ebrake pedal assembly since the teeth on mine are broken. it was crazy because i had 30 mins left before closing to figure out how to get it out and get it out while the pick n pull guys def wanted to go home because they were rushing people, which made me nervous bc i thought they might be too lazy to do checkout after closing time.
but i got everything , 20 bucks for the ebrake and 50 bucks for the leather benchseat
