What are you running on your truck? I took the roll pan off of my 74 because it was too flimsy and put a step bumper on it. No sooner than I did that some guy rear ended me! Thank God I put the bumper on. It ruined the bumper and dinged the rear quarter but I'm reluctant to put the roll pan back on. I was thinking about going this route...

But I know you need brackets and isn't there a rear valance filler panel for this style bumper?
Post some pix of your rear

That's the style bumper I've got on my 77 Stepside. I'm not a fan of roll pans nor step bumpers on stepside trucks (fleetside is another matter). Unfortunately, I've only got one picture of my rear end.

I've got a Lund rollpan on my 85 fleet SWB. Came that way from the previous owner. Its sporty and all but I prefer the chrome smoothy bumper and may put one on there one day. It would have saved the quarter getting nicely dented from some hit and run jerk a year ago

Thats the ticket!! Like the solid smooth "Blazer" style bumpers !!

i'd prefer a roll pan, I just need to find one for my truck now.
