Title: Kick Pannel question
Post by: Tommyd11730 on November 25, 2016, 09:57:24 pm
My 84 GMC 2500 has half size (non ac) kick pannels.  Can I replace them with full size kick pannels?

Someone glued carpet onto the area below the 1/2 kick pannel.  When I removed it man, what a mess it left!  So I'm looking for a way to cover it.

Thank You.

Yes they interchange.  you have to drill new holes, that is all.

I cut out inserts from 1/8 inch hardboard to fit the lower indented part and covered them with the same leather I used on the seats then glued then in place.......looks pretty sharp

Do they make full length ones that accommodate the manual air vents, like my 1/2 size non ac truck has?  The full size ones on my K5 have the automatic (vacuum) doors.

The difference is the trim levels, Silverado goes to the floor while the Scottsdale and Custom Deluxe versions are the same.  Sounds like you need the Silverado non/AC kind.
