Title: Saggy drivers side, bench seat
Post by: philo_beddoe on November 25, 2016, 10:41:59 pm
Upholstry shops can be expensive from what ive seen. Is it hard to stiffin up the drivers side and slip on a new cover? I think the store sells covers, waiting to hear from Capt. K.

We sell seat covers and we sell seat foam.  If yours is deteriorated you would need to add foam to it or get new foam.
Installing a new cover is pretty easy.

Chris,  I am new to the forum, but I've looked through the online catalog and did not see seat covers or foam.  Do you sell the both replacement foam and pieces of extra foam to stiffen a seat?

Thanks.

I guess i'd rather add foam to the saggy drivers side, then put on a nice HD vinyl cover. The full foam insert is quite expensive in the catalogs. I havnt checked yet, but tvallaro stated he couldnt find them?

Check the seat from the bottom. There are support wires from front to back about every 1 1/2 or 2 inches. If some of those are broken you need to replace them first or new seat foam won't make much of a difference.

They aren't listed on the catalog due to all the optional materials.  The foam isn't listed as it is expensive.  Shoot me an email on the year you need and location and I can get you a price.  Btw the 81-87 ONLY the bottom is offered.
