Title: 1982 fleetside box weight?

I have the box off and am replacing rear springs and want to adjust ride height by adding or removing leaves and it would be easiest with the box off, I would use sand bags or whatever on the frame to simulate the box weight, but need to know approx box weight,thanks

My guess would be in the 450lbs range.
That is just a quess.  Hopefully someone who has weighed one will chime in and let us know.
