Title: 1981 350/th400 swap to newer EFI/6L80

Hey all i'm gonna start a full rebuild on my truck and i'm thinking of throwing a new powertrain in, something newer with way more gears as i have a commute of 240km minimum per day.
Maybe a 2009 2500HD donor truck?

Anyone done this before or have some good ideas?
