I honestly have no idea how it's supposed to be set :/ It's on my 83 GMC Sierra Classic with a 305 and I don't really know for sure which transmission...

your three choices are th350 th400 or 700r4. the 700 shouldnt be an option but who knows if it was swapped at one point in its life

No idea, lol. I don't think my steering column is original. It doesn't even have anything to connect to any kind of gear indicator assembly right above the column. It also has windshield wiper controls on the blinker stick that do nothing XD

I would also like to note that my kick down cable does not have that spring looking assembly on it near where it exposes the end to connect to the carburetor..
