So on my 83 gmc Sierra classic, are the low-beams and high-beams the same lights, just more of them or are they different? My current lights suck and I can't really tell. Looking on AAA's website isn't very clear either -_-
Like the Sylvania H6054 SilverStar lamp says something about high beam and low beam. I haven't had the chance to go out and take the light out to look. But on AAA, looking up either highs or lows lists the same lamps...

Do you have the 4 headlight system or the 2 headlight system with parking lamps beneath them?

4 headlights, 2 on each side, same size, one on top of the other. Then parking lights on the inside behind the grill. Autozone has the lights listed more clearly. Showing highs and lows with different part numbers. May get the Sylvania Xtravisions for their longevity over the SilverStar's brightness and short life..

m3talc0re, The top bulb is a normal 3-pin low and high beam bulb. This is your normal low beam driving lights and high beam when activated. The lower bulb is a High beam only bulb. Granted you can put whatever you want in it but the OEM plug is only a two wire connection to the lower.
