Title: 1976 gmc wipers on all the time with key on

Even with the wiper sw disconnected they stay on,  thought sw had to be grounded but dash sw is plastic,not equipped with delay, washers work fine,hi-low works fine.Ran external ground from motor to battery,no difference.

The motor is key on 12v hot all the time. The switch controls the ground. The motor is getting a ground somewhere and staying on, probably internal.

Usually that means the park cam has failed inside the motor. 
The armature plug will have three wires.  Power with the ignition and HI LO grounds with the switch. Check the HI and LO wires for continuity to ground with the switch off.  If they're dead, infinite ohms, change the motor.
