Title: Option Number YLP, ZLP, XLP?Anyone know what it means?
Post by: ncart on December 28, 2016, 03:02:16 pm
I just purchased a 1976 Chevy LWB Big 10 Red & White with I believe to be a Spirit of 76 edition Blue Interior. I was able to breakdown all the Option codes except for these 3, XLP, ZLP & YLP. They all three state in the description: "L78-15/C BLS HWY BL". Does anyone know what this means?

L78-15C is roughly equivalent to 235/75R15.

Does your options decal in the glove compartment look like the one in this picture?  Each option is explained with text after the code.

Or is there somewhere else you are finding  YLP, ZLP, XLP listed?

Ok, Great. That clears that up. Thank you all for your help. This truck is almost perfect and i want it exactly like it came from the factory. This is the cleanest 76 I have ever come across, even underneath. I am attaching some pics. Can you believe some idiot put sheet metal screws in the body side chrome..not in the black strip but in the new chrome..Something else to replace.
