Hello all, thank you again for dealing with me as a newbie. I've been battling smog and the air system on my truck-1987 V10 pick-up 5.7LTBI. Previous owner removed all the parts, and they installed headers . I have a mechanic who can create heat stove for me, but I have recently been able to acquire all the original brackets, as well as duplicate pump, and stock exhaust manifolds. I am debating removing the headers and going back to stock manifolds.. the truck will be for cruising, and it has plenty of torque, so the loss of hp is not that great of a concern.. I've dug through the service manual, and even at the smog shop, their computer doesn't show Brackets and their proper placements in the engine. Does anyone have the smog system in their truck, that can take pictures of the engine for me and the smog system with mounting brackets as they are installed from the factory? Thanks all in advance!!

It depends on how your trucks was equipped. Is the VECI label in tact?

Okay so help us help you. Post a pic of your VECI label so we know how your truck was equipped and then you won't get incorrect pix.

The GM Parts Illustration book blowups may be useful.
EGR and Evap are in the parts books but which illustration depends somewhat on options.
Air pump mounting is easy. 1987 TBI 5.7L would be RPO L05
