Title: Convert Mechanical Fan to Electric
Post by: Rapid Roy on January 06, 2017, 07:26:38 am
74 C10 350/TH350 w/AC, w/OEM 4 row copper/brass radiator. Want dual electric fan kit w/shroud that would be as a direct fit as possible w/minimal modifications (if there is such a thing). Thought there might be some that may be for other year truck and/or car that will work. If I remember correctly the core is 28"x18". If anyone has had prior experience, would appreciate input. Would like new, but will consider used. Have googled and searched, but difficult to find one for that size and copper/brass radiator.

TIA

I plan on upgrading to this also.Down here the clutch fan does not pull enough air through the condenser and radiator in the summer months with the A/C on to me. Mine gets hot.

That looks like a nice setup. I already have a 4 row. I left the radiator from the 6.2 when I dropped a BB in it. I just need a good fan and shroud setup.

They say the new 3 rows have better cooling than the 4 rows.

I don't know. My radiator is only a year old so I think i'll stick with it and just add the fans.

Nice looking unit. Seems kind of pricey.
