Title: What is the plug? (brown plug, e-brake under the dash)

replaced my e-brake and this brown plug was unplugged before I installed the new one.

**Right now I'm having some serious alternator/power loss issues. I am working alone with not much experience and narrowing down the suspects, as well as trying to understand the messy crazy wiring job that the last guy did. Any advice or help would be appreciated, thanks.**

if you cant see from the picture, it connects to the batt fused and is grounded on the e-brake assembly.

That is for a dash mounted clock option.
