I am rebuilding my front end and had ordered wheel bearing from rock auto. The outer were fine but the inner were too small, I cleaned up the old ones and the bearing number is - LM48548c -. I looked them up at a few local parts stores and they offered - LM48548 - but without the C designation. Has anyone run these bearings from the parts store or do I have to order a set with the C designation. Looking up the dimension the C designation is 00.91mm wider than the one without the C designation.
I have one side together with the parts store bearing and it fits fine but rather have some feedback.....especially if someone is running the parts store bearing in there HD rotors. From looking online people are offering the LM48548 bearings and I do not see a listing for the LM48548C unless ordering that specific one and not looking for a make/model.

I am not sure what you are asking but the bearings on a HD 1.25" rotor are different than the standard 1" rotor

I have heavy duty rotors, the old bearing is numbered LM48548C. I could not find that bearing online or in the part stores around here. I did not know if the "C" on the end held any significance on the bearing or not. After looking around and talking to some friends it does not make a whole lot of difference, the 0.91mm width difference will not matter.

You want to run the correct bearings with the rotor. They aren't the same size.
