Title: Will a 67 327 drop into my 75 Silverado ?
Post by: Macaroni_Sackaroni on January 18, 2017, 01:24:36 pm
I want to swap the previous owners motor for a carbedC10 motor.
Right now I'm searching between years 73-79 bu it would be good to know if I could swap second gen

Just want to find anything carbed from a c10 that will just drop in. I don't care about building it.

Any SBC will bolt in.  It is the head accessory holes you have to worry about.

Correct. Early heads do not have the threaded holes at the ends that are required for alternator/power steering mounting brackets.
