Title: 1979 K10 starting issue
Post by: k10Ryan79 on February 01, 2017, 11:00:08 pm
To start off with I have a 1979 Chevy K10 Custom Deluxe with a 350 and manual trans.. Today I started up the truck and moved it into the garage to I could replace the speedo cable. Now that I'm all done I go to start the truck and nothing will happen... I'm getting power to the gauges and all the lights work... Could it have something to do with the clutch?? Kinda at a loss right now... I did see on the driver side on the trans a green and blue wire connector that looked unplugged so I made sure that was good but still nothing.. Please help!! >:( ???

The green and blue wire to the transmission is for the reverse light switch.

You can remove the connector on the clutch switch and jump it with a short piece of wire(the connector, not the switch itself) and see if you can start it.
