Title: New vinyl dash pad dying

I bought a new dash pad for my 84' off this website and had a question about dying. My interior is going to be black so I ordered a black dash pad but I'm wondering if I still need to put dye on it or should I just leave it as it is?

You can prep it and coat it with clear if you prefer.  Otherwise, dyeing is necessary only to change its color.

Ditto.  Unless you need a different shade it can be left as is.
