Title: Tires
Post by: C10L29 on February 16, 2017, 07:21:57 am
I have a 1982 Chevy C10 shortbed with 15x8 in the front and 15x10 in the rear. I can't decide on what size tires to buy. I know I want 295/50/15s in the back, but I'm not sure about the front. Maybe 245/60/15s. Any ideas?

Well what's your plans? Yeah it may look cool with the tail slightly higher but forget about rotation. So tire life will be cut in half

I want that old school drag sort of look, the 295/50s and the 245/60s are the same height.

Maybe the same height but how's it going to look when you rotate your tires and now you have fatter tires in the front

You don't rotate staggered tires.

Yeah I won't be rotating. Not only two different size tires, but wheels as well.
