Title: Front Shock Help
Post by: raul7211 on February 16, 2017, 07:53:05 am
Hello everybody - new to the forum!  I have an 82 2wd C10; when I bought her, she was already bagged in the front - only bagged, no shocks.  Clearly the ride is a bit too bumpy, so decided to add shocks.  This is where I need some help, where is the stock shock location?  The truck has stock arms and all that, just bags now - I just can't see where they would go.  Also, looks like the shocks only came with one 'bolt' - I assume they figure that you would re-use the existing one for the bottom, but what if you don't have one?  Is this something I can buy on   or just use any bolt to hold in place - thanks in advance!

The shock bolts to a stud on the side of the frame and then through the spot on the lower control arm with a bolt.  All my shocks came with new bolts.
