Hey guys, I bought a set of 89-91 Suburban Bucket Seats off of Ebay. They bolt to the floor of my 74 C30 on the outside set of holes (near the doors) but the inside tracks are far from touching the floor. Are there floors in different year trucks different? Can I get the appropriate seat tracks or do I have to space and mount these? Also...... I wanted to move my front bench to the rear, but the brackets on my front bench won't interchange with the brackets on the rear bench (different frame). Can I switch covers, and foam from seat bottom to seat bottom?

I do not know the answer about the front to rear seat swap..but I doubt it would be that easy. I am not even sure the two seats are the same width. Jeff

There are 2 small stands in sub with buckets for the center bolts they were welded in the one I took them out and bolted the floor of my 86 c10 it worked great. Don

As stated, you HAVE to get the inner seat mounts from the Burb for it to work on a pickup.
If we are talking about Crew Cabs, the front and rear seats are NOT the same size. Chris Lucas

i believe in about 77 the floors changed and so did seat mounting design too
i know this stuff changed in the k-5's, including the floor shape/contour.

The floors on pickups are the same from 73-87.
Blazer/Jimmy floors did change, but they won't as a donor to a pickup. Chris Lucas

Can anyone give a pic on the seat tabs on where they go on the floor? The guy i purchased the seats from used a torch to cut the floor tabs out so i need to use a spot weld cutter to remove the bad metal and like to know where they go so i can weld them in.
thanks

Once you bolt one side of the bracket down it will be self explanitory on where the seat braket goes.
