Hello everyone,
Thanks for accepting my registration request, I am looking forward to searching the forums and learning. I grew up on Chevy pickups with a '75 3/4 ton long box as our main farm pickup and with first a '74 blazer then a 1982 Diesel Blazer for the family wagon, so I have a soft spot for these years. The diesel lasted 400,000 miles with only water pumps and a starter for major repairs. I have also owned a '75 Blazer that was a lot of fun, and I am picking up a 1985 6.2L K20 Suburban tomorrow. As much as people hate it the 6.2 does what I need to do and it only needs one solenoid to keep it running!
I am in the high desert for the next few years and I love the clean sheet metal and cracked dashes out here!
