Title: sway bar conundrum
Post by: psyborgg on March 08, 2017, 06:11:58 am
The bar on my 87 C20 has rubber bushings on the end, as well as two in the center section. All of the parts I see for sale, bolt to the control arm on the ends. Any information would be appreciated!

Assuming a 1 1/4" diameter bar, Prothane 7-1102 (https://www.summitracing.com/parts/ptp-7-1102/overview/year/1987/make/chevrolet/model/r20).

Thank you for the replybut the bushings are not the issue. I would like to replace the bar itself. A search is no joy.

Until recently Hellwig marketed an OEM style albeit stiffer bar.  At present, you may need to cruise the junk yards for a replacement.
