Hi all, first post in a while. Did some research but really couldn't find the answer I needed.
How low can you go in the front and rear before you jack up the ride and have to start messing with other things like steering stuff?
I want to take down my 86 long bed. I would go with spindles/springs, shocks and flip kit on the rear. But there are lots of kits.
Want her to be low and level.
FYI i have a good set of 235/15's
Thanks for any responses. Chip

5" in the front is the max you can go. Spindles and springs.

I am not trying to be crappy but I don't understand lowering a truck. If you were going to do it right, it seems a straight axle would be in order and not too difficult to fabricate.

A straight axle would not work to get you lower at all - there is stuff in the way.
But it make for an interesting "Gasser" look.
