Hey everyone. I need some help. Last night while I was driving I was having trouble shifting then I noticed that there was no pressure in my clutch pedal. I can press it and it swings back with almost no resistance. Needless to say I am having trouble shifting gears. I tried pressing the pedal as far as I could to the floor, but I could only get my truck into gear with too much pressure. It's like the clutch pedal is not engaging enough to let me shift. This is my first manual transmission experience. HELP! Thanks.

Crawl under neath and look at the clutch fork, there are several things that can go wrong, one, the ball stud can punch through the fork, giving very limited motion. Second is the throwout bearing or pressure plate itself has failed. Or the linkage has popped out of adjustment(typically pretty rare in my experience)

Thanks. It looks like the ball stud did punch through the clutch fork. Thanks for the response!
