I'm looking to add horsepower need advice on what headers and cam would be a good idea to put in. Any feedback appreciated

Stock compression, auto/stock converter, hiway gears ? Or flattop pistons,vortec heads or aftermarket, 4.56 gears and a 4 speed ?

Track or street?  If street, you're barking up the wrong tree.  You race horsepower, but you drive torque.

Hooker headers.

I prefer Crane Cams, but have used other brands with success. If money is no object then go with a hydraulic roller.

If you do those mods you'll need to fatten up the intake charge to take full advantage of it so an aluminum intake and aftermarket carb is in the works. Then at a minimum you'll want to pocket port your heads, or a Vortec head swap.......

How fast can you afford to go?

take at look at that. granted they do everything but they build a 400+ hp/tq 350
