Hi all... I know this topic was addressed, so sorry if I started a redundant thread.. my question is: how difficult is this to replace? It seems that a noob like myself may have difficulty adjusting this after install to proper spec... is it really that difficult? I feel this is the solution to my extra firm gas pedal as well as the slight tranny leak I haven't isolated yet.. thoughts? Or advice?

I replaced mine just the other day, first time too. 10mm and a light is all you need. Easy Peasy

Was it difficult running it through the firewall? Also, how did you verify the adjustment, verify that it was correct? And third, did you need a lift? My cab is 26 inches off the ground, so I feel I can get under there pretty easy..,

My truck is lowered quite a bit and was able to get it done without lifting it. As far as going through the firewall, mine doesn't do that. mine does from the trans towards the engine and to the throttle bracket on the carb. As far as adjustment it may be different for you. On my 700r4 I watched numerous vids on youtube and was able to adjusted it properly.

The TV cable doesn't go through the firewall. It is easy to change and don't over think making the adjustment, just start out tight and adjust it from there.
