OK..So since im Scared about welding near a gas tank..And i have to Put the 5 pieace Cab Kit in...And The Gas tank is behind the rocker....And i dont want to drop my gastank..Should i get a Welding blankit? Or Just have my mother in law do the welding for me

Just drop the tank and do it nice or yeah call the MIL

I weld near tanks all the time. As long as they don't leak it shouldnt be a problem. Keepa fire exting handy.

Yea..See my options are pretty Clear...I might Drop the tank...Depends tho...If it looks and feels dry and thare isnt to many Fumes around i might Just weld it as is..But the the Tank looks Wet I will pull it ..cause ill replace it...It just Sucks tho..cause im starting to Get mad with my truck...The Person Who owned my truck before me..Knew how to sell Junk..And had clever ways of fixing them up...I found what had to be 10lbs of Bondo On my truck.....And i found it when i looked down into my cab corner and seen it pushed way in...And it lookd like a Colander With Bondo coming out the holes..
And then when i did the car fax..I saw that my truck was wrecked..WHAT A SLAP IN THE FACE

You will have an easier time of doing your repairs without the gas tank in the way. You could use stainless steel bolts to put it back up making it so easy to drop in the future.
Please don't weld if there aren't too many fumes. Weld only if there aren't ANY.
