I know this is not going to be a new subject but I have had issues finding a post from anyone that has all the information that seems to be correct.
I recently acquired a c10 from a family friend. The carb that was on it was totally trashed from whoever did work on the truck for them. I have already ordered and recieived the 1406 to replace it, however I am having issues finding all of the documentation letting me know what parts I will need to make everything on my truck hook up to it. I do have the 350 trans on it, I already have the throttle adapter. I do not know what to do transmission kickdown delete.
Thanks,
Corey

Not enough info. What transmission do you have? Is your engine currently setup up with spread bore, square bore, q-jet?
Generally speaking you need the base gasket, throttle cable/tv bracket assembly, post studs, return springs, fuel line, clamps, inline filter, fitting for brake booster vacuum, vacuum hose, air cleaner and or spacer, possibly an adapter plate. Need more info

+1 for VileZambonie's post.
The #1 thing is the intake situation. I'm not a fan of adapter anythings, can you find a used intake on Craigslist for $40 or $50?
All the little things (adapters \ gaskets \ hose clamps) add up quickly.
