Post by: 77GMCSerria on January 06, 2007, 12:14:00 am
Did GM make a dually pick-up bed for trucks from 1968 to 1972?

I don't think so, I've seen some on the net but I think they're customs, not factory. When we done mine, I just "tubbed" it lightly and the wheels fit fine, ended up using a fender flare from a cj-type jeep.Of course mine was factory 3/4 ton and we didn't change anything.Mine still has the factory D-60 rear. I know if you look in the truck mags, or 4x mags there is a company that has the dually fenders for just about any year, they also sell the wheel adapters as well. Hope this helps ya.

I think that company you mention is Arrowcraft. I got a quote from them for converting my 3/4 ton Duramax to a dually and it was @ $2100 for the parts.
