Hello, just got into sbc and really like the setup and functionality. New to the forums, lots of great information.
Me and a buddy have a 1984 GMC 2500 Vandura. It has a 305 with 4bbl quadrajet.
I'm new to carburetors and looking for a basic vacuum diagram to see how the ealier engines functioned without emissions vacuum lines. Or atleast a vac diagram without an EGR since emissions were started before the 305. I'm curious which accessories came from the carb(vac advance timing, pcv, brake booster).
Seeing a simpiliar versions helps me to understand tge later models. For some reason I'm just not able to find the earlier versions of the vac diagram.
