Planning on going to look at a 89 suburban tomorrow. The burb is a 1989 with the 6.2 diesel, I'm told it started as a 2wd 3/4 and had the frame swapped for a 3/4 4x4 frame with the 3/4 axles he has also retrofitted a 4l80E into the truck that is a couple weeks old with the bill as proof. Anything i should keep my eyes open for on the suburban body, 6.2 diesel or the 4l80E? known problems or problem areas, thanks guys, here's the ad if you want too look:

the only issue i know of is just the rust of the burb. the engine and trans are a good combo and gm used them in the 91 trucks

never ended up going to see this truck, i couldn't borrow the dealer plate (a licence plate for dealers/mechanics to drive otherwise un-plated uninsured cars on the road, the insurance is on the plate and the plate can be put on anything safe/legal to drive) that weekend, boss already loaned it out, so it was put off and then i found my 88 and now the 87 and i have a couple more possibly on the way. So ya this ones probably not happening anymore
