All nice trucks. I'd love to get my hands on them all.

Man that was impressive. The truck in Brazil made me snap my neck back in confusion but then it was cool. The red truck in Saudi Arabia was pretty awesome, I'm always partial to the heavy duty trucks tho, anything 3/4 and 1 ton is always better in my book. I prefer HD over 1/2 tons.

Anyone notice the 78 steering column? Lack of ignition switch? Really cool

I missed that detail the first look. Interesting how the taillight and rear panel treatment is different and the trim wraps around to the tailgate. Also, check out the spare tire in the bed - it's 6-lug. Another Argentina C-10 shows the 6-lug wheels on Flickr here (http://www.flickr.com/photos/79279168@N03/32449707004/)
One more gleaned from the posts by previously linked Flickr member:
1992 Chevrolet D-20, Brazil (I think)
https://www.flickr.com/photos/118029649@N03/albums/72157656532750709 (https://www.flickr.com/photos/118029649@N03/albums/72157656532750709)
The poster mentioned the dash bezel as similar to N American models. There's also some vague similarities to N American models like top of doors, vent windows, side windows and windshield. Lower dash also looks similar, but with different glove box latch. Also 6-lug wheels on this one too.

the column is different and has a boot at the base, wonder if its stock or someone found another column off another vehicle?
-
Jason S, it appears to me, seeing a lot of similarities between the two like you mentioned. But the general shape of cab in its entirety looks very similar to a square. It does have a very different body line under the door handles but I wouldn't be surprised if overall it was just about the same cab and doors with some different body lines and I also noticed that the cowl is different.
It's almost like they took the designs from a square and the designs for an S-10 and smashed them together. It has a very S-10 look to it but obviously it's larger than an S-10. I'm not gonna lie, I like it. It's different, weird to us anyway but I like it.

If your talking about the D-20, I dont think so, just look at the rest of the truck, its probably one of those things that's just different about those.

Irish, just realized your probably talking about the 78 C-10, yeah I see the boot, but the rest of the column looks similar except no ignition switch and the steering wheel is different. Who knows, maybe, but maybe not, I'm not sure.
