Title: Gap between heater distributor box and defrost ducts
Post by: fiddler on April 30, 2017, 01:35:07 am
I am putting the interior back together after re-insulating from mouse damage.  There is about a half inch space between the defrost ducts and the heater distributor box.  Is that space normal and if not what is there that covers it?

Normal, you can take some foam strips and glue them around the outlet to help block some of the air. I used a couple pieces of AC weatherstripping it's roughly 1" square and is adhesive on one side.

Thanks for the input.  I will cover it as well.
