This doesn't pertain to my square body but thought maybe one of you guys might know. Wiring up my 37 and am using one of the aftermarket universal signal sswitches. The wiring instructions show a blue wire and a black wire being hooked to a single flasher, one for the signal operation and one for the emergency flasher operation. I have 2 flashers in my wiring harness, one for each, with a purple wire from the signal flasher and brown from the emergency flasher. Anybody wired one of these up? Is the blue for the turn signals and the black for emergency flashers or visa versa. It's a 50/50 shot either way but don't want to chance messing something up in my $24.95 Chinese turn signal switch. I guess I can cheat and just hook it up to a battery and a test light and see which ones which.

Testing the switch is the approach I would take.
