Post by: c10rider on May 08, 2017, 11:30:11 am
How is everyone , I have a 74 step side and I just had a elderbrock 1405 carb installed and it ran good for a a week and then started running rough , I checked my fuel filter and it was full of tiny black gritty flakes , well I was wondering how difficult is to replace the tank and am I gonna have to replace the carb , I'm not a mechanic but I'm good at learning off videos

Before you go replacing the gas tank, you may consider talking to your local radiator service guy.

Some of them will restore your tank for a reasonable fee.
