Title: Gauge cluster installation trouble
Post by: 86chevytrk on May 20, 2017, 08:58:15 am
So I removed the cluster to replace the speedo cable (I got tired of turning up the radio to drown out the rubbing sound) super annoying sound. While it was out I did the led light upgrade and polished the clear plastic. Now I'm trying to reinstall rhe cluster and I'm have a terrible time getting it in correctly. It seems the left hand part doesn't go in property. It's driving me crazy. I can't even remember how it came out. I don't recall if there was a trick or a process to remove it. It just came right out. Please help if you have any ideas or have had this same issue before. Thanks in advance.

I finally figured it out. The bottom goes in first. Man I feel dumb.
