Title: '79 Picture Request
Post by: kingmu on September 01, 2005, 11:01:00 PM
I am in the final stages of getting my engine running! But I think I will be posting quite a bit the next few weeks!

Can someone please post a picture of the short tube that contains the starter wires? I think the tube attaches where the trans bell housing meets the engine, but I'm not sure.

Thanks!

That is where it goes.  I don't have a picture though.

The top end of that tube should have a bolt hole on it.  ONe of the bell housing bolts or transmission bolts will go through that and hold it up.  The tube is mainly to keep the wires from frying on your exhaust manifold--it works well.
