Title: '84 k10 swb shackles on front springs question
Post by: ckinney on June 01, 2017, 06:39:46 pm
Hello all. New to the site and doing my first build on a '84 K10 swb. The truck has a 6" Rough Country lift. I notice that when looking from the front, the rear shackles on the front springs look shifted to one side. The front axle is on jacks so there isn't any steering pressure on them. The frame doesn't look twisted and both sides are shifted the same direction. Is something jacked up that I'm possibly not seeing? Any input is appreciated. Thanks

i dont know why but with my mud truck one of the springs were bent so i removed it and installed a rough country lift that i had sitting. didnt notice it at first but after a while the same side was bent again. might want to look closely at the spring and see how it sits

Thank you. I'll check the bushings and will post a pic.
