I was driving my truck on the highway one day. I was going up a hill and the temp. went up on it and i lost power. I pulled off the side of the road and antifreeze poured out of it. The motor is a 350 bored out to a 355. It didnt not lock up, it still starts and everything. What is wrong with it? Also, if anyone wants to buy it let me know. Ill send you pictures. What did the oil level look like? Hard to diagnose without knowing the history. I would just be guessing.

Where did the antifreeze come out at? The sounds could be anything.

The Antifreeze was coming from the radiator.. After it did whatever it did, the oil level was alomst empty (it was full to begin with)

If it ran hot and the oil was almost empty no oil was contributing to it running hot. If it is knocking now, it is due to the bearings being galled or spun.

There was oil in it when i took off driving it that day, and it dont leak. So i dont know how it got so low in a 45 minute time period.

I'd drop the oil pan and have someone turn the crank from the front of the engine w/ a socket wrench. Observe what is going on from up under the motor. Inspect the bearings and connecting rods, look for play or looseness. That's about all you can do...the next step would be to disassemble to motor and put new parts in.

ok. I'll try that and see whats going on.
