So right now I have 15" rims and they don't look bad at all.
Let's start with what I DON'T want!
- I don't want rims so big that the tires look like slightly thicker rubber bands snapped on the rims.
- I don't want rubbing from my front tires on my fenders!!!!!!
What I DO want:
- I want some rims and tires that look balanced well where the rims and the tires work well with each other
- I want a bit of a sport/mussel look but tires that are not too wide to make them look like a Formula 1 racing car.
Can you guys with 17" rims please post some photos of your rims please!
FYI: I will be using the factory coils and leaf springs. The front coils have sagged a pinch over the last 40 years but that gave the truck a nice gate to it! Most likely a 1" drop in the front. The rear leaf springs are the 3/4 ton spring pack from the factory. I got a heavy half ton truck.
I also have a 12 bold rear end and my studs are a 5 by 5"

Something that I have found out in looking for 15" rims. I have been told a few times over by local tire shops is that the 5 by 5" rims are limited to a few styles of rims. This is because of the Jeeps. You see the majority of the 5 by 5" market was pushed to the Jeep market and that limited the rims to larger rims. There are a number of 5 by 5" rims but if you look at them they all for the most part look the same. That Crager SS look and that is the look that I DON'T want!

That's the stance I want (level). But I haven't had any luck finding away to lift my sagging front end. I have a heavy 1/2 as well. I couldn't find any 16 inch tires I wanted there like finding a dinosaur

should be 255/50R17 stock

The ones on mine are 275/55/17.
