Alright I've found a set of wheels with similar specs to an H2 wheel. The wheels are slightly wider so I was wondering how much clearance the guys running H2 wheels have to tie rod ends and the shocks at full lock? I made a template with wood and it clears everything, just want to double check myself. Working on a 1984 C20...

whats "slightly" wider? h2 wheels fit but h1 wheels wont unless you have a 2.5" spacer

The wheels I found are 17x9 with a 5.71" backspace as opposed to the 17x8.5 with 5.5" backspace of the H2 wheels. I'm guessing there is very little difference between the two.

H2 wheels will bolt right on, however, my 99c2500 didn't allow enough clearance for the dust covers on the front hubs. I siliconed the hubcaps on and never had a problem. (Indiana, rain, snow and the like)
