Hello
my 75 C10 has few small holes i would like to fill, i would rather weld than bondo.
paint is couple inches away and don't want to mess up, is it better to braze or TIG holes.
tips to do this would be great.

here are some pix of issue. not too bad but...

Cover it with welding paper and fill it up.
It looks like one of those is the weep hole, you don't want to weld it if that is the case.
-
yes that is where weep hole is. i just want to fill the hole a little more and the others. what is welding paper?
what is better mig or tig?
fyi.....i really cannot get to backside of metal near this pinchweld area

MIG is easier if you are not experienced or do not have access to a TIG but use .023" or silicone bronze. I've seen guys do lead repair around windshields although I am not in favor of using lead.

Thanks
I have a TIG machine and will be using that, see how far I chase the bad metal!!

I found a donor truck and cut out the pieces I needed. they were about 3 or 4" larger on each side than the area with cancer in case I found more. cut out the cancer and cleaned up the areas and POR15 the area before welding in the new pieces. I had some pictures but the image host screwed them up. looking for new host.
